Move-In Day 2015

Move-In Day 2015

Enthusiasm, optimism, and Hornet pride ran high as 1,700 students began moving into Sac State’s residence halls, anticipating the start of classes. Helped by their family, friends, and 250 eager student volunteers, the crowd created a continuous line of helpers moving refrigerators, pillows, computers, and, in one case, a large case of Cup Noodles, from vehicles to rooms. New University President Robert S. Nelsen was on hand to welcome the families, at one point stopping by the Parents Lounge for a visit. Move-In Day kicks off Hornet WOW (Weeks of Welcome), a series of events and programs geared to welcome all students to the Hornet way of life.
